Well he's right that Paul had to lead the team over the break as he had no teammate, and FI have defiantly been dragged up and improved this year.

He's got a known yardstick to be measured against this year. If he beats Adrian, then he's certainly earned his keep for the year and will certainly be a short list candidate for teams higher up the pecking order.

At the end of last year, when NH had gone to Sauber, and Sergio had gone to McLaren, and he was left at FI - it seemed he had drawn the short straw and been forgotten about.

Not joining mclaren was unfortunate at the time but now seems quite lucky they didn't want to be a British team anymore

Come guys, it's not like Mclaren is going to be languishing in the mid field for ever. Sergio got the pick of the litter. I will still always feel that both Hulkenberg and Di Resta are better drivers than he. Neither of them however come with Carlos Slim type money so McLaren's choice was easy to make.
