Check out this video on YouTube of jenson jumping into martin whitmarsh's interview to unfairly manipulate him and the media against perez.

http://youtu.be/8a2-iUqoVBQ

it was jenson that drove left and banged perez tyres. replay shows perez was driving straight. jenson brake tested him at corner and caused the accident. then drove perez off the road. and then blames PEREZ for dangerous driving.

jenson thinks his ability as a driver is so so much higher than what it is. he really seems to think he is as good as alonso, vettel, hamilton. whenever he was frequently outdriven by hamilton always an excuse was ready blaming the car or the team. who cannot win without a perfectly balanced car. lost count of the number of times he comes on the radio moaning "oh wah wah where's the balance gone? i canonly drive with a car stuck on rails. i should have been a train driver, no one can overtake when you are driving a train"

with hamilton gone he has this obsession with himself being "team leader", perez being his lapdog learning from jenson the self annointed best driver on the grid.

jenson DID NOT CARE IF HE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT YESTERDAY, because no overtakes jenson "the greatest driver ever team leader".

and then interviews after the race for him to blame perez for dangerous driving and say other drivers have a problem with him. and then to jump in on the martin whitmarsh interview and butter him up and backstab perez as much as possible. then when anthony davidson showing him replays and saying "see how your teammate overtook you" and then when anthony showed jenson dangerously running perez off the road and ask him "what was your thinking here?" jenson suddenly pretending he cannot hear through the headset. he is such a sly, smiling snake. he should have been a politician

the whitmarsh buttering worked and soon martin was talking about how button had completely outdriven and outthought perez this season, great way to build confidence in your young new signing. jenson always make sure to blame his team mate and his team, global warming and anything else to divert attention from he is a slow driver. with his blaming and backstabbing of perez out the way and and then of course has to blame the team. whitmarsh had just finished his out thought outdriven lines and had a big smile on his face and then jenson immediately said the team brought me in too late and whitmarsh's smile faded for a few seconds.

the problem is perez is faster than button overall. when the car is perfect with a stable back end button is as good as they get. in 2011 when he was doing well and red bull came in with an offer i was surprised he did not jump at the offer because that stable rear end would have suited him down to the ground and i think he would have given vettel a real run for his money.

the problem is when the rear is not stable he suffers more than any driver out there. and he has such a deluded sense of ability that he thinks he should be team leader and will back stab, run his team mate off the road, brake test him, and play every political game to divert attention from his comparative lack of speed and i think this is why almost universally he has annoyed fans this weekend because they can all see through his game. his inability to drive an unstable rear end car seems to have just gotten worse and worse since 2009. he seems almost unwilling to be determined to develop a way of driving round it, instead just come on the radio for the world to hear him blame the team for their setup and the car they have given him. it started with Brawn with the relentless "how is this car so bad?" broadcasts to the world every weekend.

so to summarise jenson annoys me and evidently many others for

- his inability to drive a car that is not perfectly balanced
- after 14 years experience, still being incapable of setting up a car without copying team mate setups
- immediately and always coming on team radio and making sure everyone hear that the car is not right for "on the rails" jenson and he wants to make sure that everyone in the world knows he blames the team (for not being able to do his job)
- blaming everyone else for his lack of speed
- he is so sly. suddenly pretending he could not hear anthony davidson whenhe asked him why he ran perez off the track
- his arrogance of thinking he is so much better than he is
- his constant media manipulation to blame his team for his poor performances, his constant team manipulation to blame his team mate for his poor performances. does not everyone see through this snake? the media and martin seem to lap it up. all the fans can see through it no problem

the thing is i really, really wanted jenson to win the 2009 title and was so happy when he won it. was delighted with his brilliant 2004 bar season and his first win in 2006. but since his move to mclaren he has displayed off and on track behaviour that has really made it hard to like him. and its sad given the almost unanimous postings this weekend of people really fed up of jenson's manipulation of the team and media because i used to think the guy was quite cool and classy.

Button shouldn't have run him so wide, other than that it was pretty entertaining racing, I want to see more like that.

there was a palpable air of discomfort throughout that entire clip. yes, please F1 more of letting people race.

I know right...I get a slimy feeling when Button waddles over and starts nuzzling with Whitmarsh.

That was the best part... :hehe:, that interview was so exciting, as the race itself...

Your worst enemy in F1, is your teammate, I've seen all sorts of things happening between teammates since 92'. the most recent was Vettel - Webber, Hamilton - Button and Alosno - Massa (some years ago). As for Hamilton - Rosberg, I would give them some time before saying this doesn't apply to them...
A big BRAVO to McLaren  for no team orders applied, not even a simple ''take it easy'' radio message. I like to see the best man win, and I hope they keep it like this. They always have*, that's one of the many reasons I love this team. Other teams just rob us from the racing action we all love to see, after ''team-order'' races I feel kind of weird having to accept the manipulated result....

*except the Alonso - Hamilton, Hakkinen - Coulthard, incidents many years ago,
and probably some other older incidents I can't remember...

I have to agree Partsas. It's no coincidence that be most talk generated this season has come when we've been allowed to see racers racing. Not in extreme tire conservation like we saw in China which in my opinion factored tremendously into last weekend.

It was Checo's first taste of success at McLaren and he won't forget how he achieved it. McLaren this year is a great story line if you're a fan of the sport.

:scratchchin: The thing I found most interesting about this interview is not that jenson may have thrown perez under the bus to a degree, but he 'took over' for whitmarsh as if whitmarsh was a driver running around babbling nonsense or something. It seemed like jenson and martin had swapped roles almost. Almost to a level of condescension, like nicely telling whitmarsh to basically 'shut up and let me do the talking' ...so maybe that speaks to the power jenson feels he has within the team, or the inner workings on jenson's relationship with whitmarsh, the team, and perez. hmmmm...... :scratchchin:
