Thing that I noticed immediately was that the Ferrari's didn't go too well. Nico beat both Ferrari's and both Mclarens. The Bulls and Lotus' were strong. But then it's all change this year with the tyres , so maybe can't read too much into it. Nice to see the stats from last year. Thanks Andrew

This track leans more towards rear ward bias...Mercedes will struggle here, they didn't do too well today with tire management even with a front bias circuit. Another podium for them would be a job well done. More importantly, they need two cars to finish the race though...Nicos lost at least 15 points already through silly issues.

I'd like Webber to win but that guy just seemed so deflated after DNFing in China, I don't know if he can pick himself up in a week's time. Since he has no time to get his Australian wave 'medicine' this time around.

I have him in a fantasy team, not this one. And I WAS doing well. I'm wondering if its time to jettison him?

Hoping Perez will be closer to Button this time.

You'd be better of hoping he can just drive in a straight line for starters. :hehe:

According to Whitmarsh that's how he's supposed show his elbows and toughen up. So I guess he's just following team orders like any loyal driver.

If Whitmarsh's team orders are "Swerve around dangerously like Schui of old" then we REALLY need to start questioning him :hehe:

Yeah, but last year Nico was still high from the win in China.
I'd expect Red Bull(s?) be back followed by 2 Ferraris and 2 Mercs followed by 1 Lotus. Any deviation from that would be positive. That was for Qualifications, race with funny tyres gives some chances from the back.
