The Mercedes looks good to start with. It's only 1st practice, but I'm not ruling Mercedes 1-2 out. Earlier it would have given 1/50, probably going down now.
Lotus looks quite bad, they hope lies with the tires.

Looks like another awesome GP coming up. Hope it stays bone dry though, I want to see the real speed of these teams for once.

From the 2nd Practice some statistics from longer stints, which can give better indication of the race pace compared to just qualifying.
Best Average times of 4 consecutive laps from the longer stints:
Alonso 01:42.8 (only out for 4 laps in a row)
Massa 01:43.0 (only out for 5 laps)
Webber 01:43.0
Kimi 01:43.1
Nico 01:43.1
Lewis 01:43.3
Romain 01:43.6

Vettel didn't stay out more than 3 laps without pitstop so his time is 3 lap average 01:42.7 but doesn't qualify for real comparison, but shows that he's there too

Sergio is still ahead of him in the table tho. Come the end of the season it wont be who was more comfortable, likely to be who had the fewer pitstop issues and other team induced mishaps
