Fantastic Dent! Sounds like a win win situation! Having a head teacher that actually does his job and creates an exciting learning environment is worth more than extra money, but you get the money as well a shitfaced head that didn't care about the kids is why I left my last job.

Indeed. I really liked the head, although he is sadly retiring at the end of the year. All of the senior leadership team that I got to meet seemed to be the kind of people you want in charge, though.

We got told about a new base opening in Rio today and were told that if we want to be considered for a transfer to put our name in to HR. Quite a few folk seem to be falling for it - I mean if I'm going to travel to the other side of the planet I want a guarantee that it'll be in a promoted role. There's no way I'd go to another country just to do the same stuff I do here!

Every class I went into today was calm and quiet, the students looked to be engaged, the staff were able to get on with their lessons etc. and it just generally seemed like a nice place to be.

Nah, you get plenty of good state schools. All sorts of nonsense happens at private/public schools, they can be very cruel kids.

On Monday I found out that Cox Communications have a 250GB cap on my Internet connection despite being told by a rep two weeks earlier that Cox doesn't meter Internet access. Today I call up Cox customer service to upgrade to their ultimate package at a cost of $99.99 per month, only to find out that if I want Ultimate (150Mb down, 20Mb up / 400GB cap) i would have to have a technician out to do a "professional" install at a cost of $35 on top of the $99.99. The trouble is that I a stuck between AT&T and Cox, both operate the same caps so it makes no sense to switch. Suffice to say I am not terribly happy with the situation, but what can I do?
