that's ok then.
Well the grey ones are speakers , there's one in each corner and one above the tele, you can see it on the picture. They're surround sound. And one of the black boxes is another speaker and I think it's joined somehow to the grey ones, but the wires must go through the wall because you cant aee them. the black one's bigger than the grey ones and you can switch it on and off. There's a Panasonic DVD reorder. A Panasonic blu ray machine. A Sony audio/ video control enter ( not sure what that does but I think it's to do with volume) and a Sony one that looks like a video machine. And lots of controllers with thousands of buttons. I tell you, it's a NIGHTMARE!!
Oh and two little flashing white boxes as wellvisible on the photo of boxes.
Next time I go to a technical seminar; please be the guest speaker (not the surround sound type)...
RC, please tell me you are winding the guys up, and you are not actually that technically ...erm.... challenged.....?
"not sure what that does but I think it's to do with volume" -
The reason it's confusing is because it doesn't work the volume for most things, for most things you work the volume on one of the different controllers, just normal volume. But if you do certain things ( things like blu ray and maybe other stuff) then you have to turn the normal volume right down low and switch on the black speaker, then go to that thing that I think has something to do with volume and turn it up....so it definitely has something to do with volume, but not always.
And the white boxes that flash I have no idea about, but I don't have to touch them to make anything work. I've asked. Their either rooters or hubs
No wind up LRW, this stuff is ridiculously over complicated. I could design a remote that would sort it. I have the design in my head right now. But I guess such a remote wouldn't meet the needs of the techie majority( I reworded that bit to be polite)
Ok. Well we all love you anyway.
