RC, get the Sky Go app, sadly for me I can use it have the US appstore :( but I do stream via a browser using a VPN service on my HTPC setup using my father's name and viewing card details.

Any internet connection will work as long as it's fast enough to stream media. I would suggest using a 2Mb plus connection for reliable streaming if possible.

Alternatively you could stop being a cheapskate and just purchase Sky Go... ;) I wish that I have the luxury of having my own subscription; but I'm outside of the allowed area! :(

Yeah 2mb for skygo. We only get 1mb but sure you will be fine

No way would pay all that for 1 channel personally

I worked on cover in the Fortnum & Mason department store. If anyone's in London over the next week or so, and fancies buying expensive perfume, then come and drop by and say hi.

Bet you won't though.

As far as I can remember you can only change the nominated device a month or more after the device in that slot was last changed so when you change to a new device it'll have to stay on the device list for at least that time.
Other than that you can use it anywhere with a wired or wireless internet connection as long as it's fast enough.

Yes, that is correct, I have two new PC's using Sky Go and right now, I can only use the one connected to the large screen TV, I'm having to wait another three weeks to add my bedroom laptop!

Compared to what is available here in the States, Sky Go is great value, but luckily my father has been a subscriber since the 80s and he doesn't use the streaming portion of his subscription, e.g. doesn't own a computer, so I get it for free, I get about 60 channels so far and that line up is always expanding, plus you get all the additional screens like the pitlane channel, live timings, onboards etc!

You can stream Sky Go on a 1MB connection, however a 2MB connection is recommended as this should be able to give maximum quality without any buffering issues.

It's rather stupid that they even limit the number of devices especially including computers, someone with mediocre technical skills can get around the computer limit easy.

But yeah, you have four slots only two of which can stream over 2g/3g/4g connections and you can only change/remove a device from your list once a month however exceptions can be made if you call up and make up an excuse they can reset your devices.

Oh no... I can't stand Apple products

Oh deer. :(

Did you mean to spell it deer, I don't know if I'm missing not understanding something lol

Overthe easter weekend me and hannah mainly watched films. Alien 3, the avengers, event horizon

All pretty good films, did she like all three?

If I was up there... I would say hi then run away and hope you'd chase me through the woods so we can see you epically climb over the branch :P

Is it... yellow? :O

Anyway, today I did:
- Woke up at 11:00, layed in bed talking to my cousin and a friend on skype (typing, not a voice call) till 12:30
- Got up, ate, showered, washed, dressed, did my hair & watched a movie.
- Signed a NDA with Sky to get access to the Sky Private Forum
- Cleaned a few windows so they're nice and clear however my room smells of glass cleaner which is an odd but kinda nice smell.
- Carefully removed all of the soil from the cactus what is in my room as it was growing mold somehow O_o and put new soil in.
- Admitted, Explained and opened up to someone... which was extremely relieving and liberating.
- Re-wrote some of my code to make it faster and work better with some extra checks to make sure it can't go wrong.
- Got extremely embarrassed earlier and was as red as a lobster >_<

That's pretty much it :/
