Documentary following Susie Wolff, determined to be the first woman since 1976 to race in Formula 1. Featuring interviews with Lewis Hamilton, David Coulthard and Ralf Schumacher.

When did she race in Formula 1?

She took part in a test for Williams early this year. That's as close as she's got so far.

That's not racing in F1; there has been a number of women that have tested an F1 car...

No one said she's raced in F1 though.

It sais she is determined to be the first since 1976, not she is the first since 1976.

But there have been other female F1 drivers since 1976.

Divina Galica in 1978, Desiré Wilson in 1980 and Giovanna Amati in 1992 albeit none of them qualified for any of the races they entered.

Yes that's the qualifier(sorry 'bout the unfortunate choice of word) to that. The article says no woman has raced in F1 since 1976.

In any case, I suspect Susie has climbed as high as she will ever be in the sport.

I'd like to see her make it. She did make the target time during her test but I suspect your correct in that she won't get any further, unless MrE starts making a few phone calls about the potential financial gains from having the first female F1 driver since 1992.

If Mr E cares that much about getting a girl on the grid I haven't heard about it.
Would Susie be a pay driver? That would be the first necessity. if not, she's out. Anyway, could be that she might do a Friday practice or some such but I don't see it going past that. Not unless she's quicker than their 2 current drivers. I don't know, what's you guys' take on whether she would do that? If she ever does get to do qualifying, she will likely qualify, because, who doesn't nowadays?, and she would have to prove her speed before the team gave her a race drive anyway. But if she's that good then the 3 rearmost teams would give her a drive.
