I happens from time to time. The high pressure that usually brings in warm continental air is further north than it usually is so it's bringing in cold arctic air.

Definitely a case of more money than sense... build a golf course in Kansas, there is plenty of wide open spaces available... no sea views though, unless you have some very good binoculars!

The funny thing is, the site of the wind farm is pretty much used as anchorage for Aberdeen Harbour and the Harbour Board have given the project their support. If I was the sort of person that would go to this rather exclusive (read any old scummy riff-raff with enough cash) galf course in the doons of Scatland I'd rather see a few wind turbines than a heap of ships belching out black smoke.

He built a galf course in the doons of north east scatland because his granny is supposedly from the west coast. Geography's clearly not a stong point then for your average American billionaire.
