Has anyone been able to make an effective upgrade to their original team so far? I just spent 20 minutes thinking about my upgrade options and I've got absolutely nothing available to me. Second week that effectively can't make a switch.

I dumped off Maldonado (why I thought he would improve this season, is beyond me) for Jules Bianchi - not the most amazing of changes. Ive got £3.5M in the bank, and cant really see anything else worth changing.

Sauber and the sauber drivers have just sucked, and mclaren, oh jesus, don't even get me started on that ridiculousness.

I was able to at least trade up the sauber engine for force india. Yes, wheel nuts would have been the demise if I had them now, but hopefully we can get a true dry race and qualifying and see some decent results.

All I could do was switch Sauber for Force India.

I've got the Hulk, Gutierrez and Sauber as my engine, pretty damned committed to them right now. Thank goodness they had a good overall result yesterday.

I did much better in Fantasy F1 than the pool; I'm up 9 places to 12th overall; thanks to Lewis Hamilton and Nico Hulkenberg, looks like I need to get rid of Williams as team/engine, Williams seems to have gone to s*** this season; I picked them because I expected them to build on their 2012 improvements!

I swapped Lotus for Ferrari. I think that is a pretty decent upgrade cause Ferrari look good everywhere, like they can get two cars in the top 6 (or better) at any given track. It was either them or Mercedes but i think Ferrari are a safer long term bet. I could still swap Perez out for one of the Force India guys but i am not sure if that is really worth it, cause i reckon McLaren will get faster as the season continues, and there's now a 3 week gap for them to get some big car upgrades in. I did consider swapping out Raikkonen for Rosberg to get some more money to play with, but having Rosberg as my 'main' driver is madness really so didn't change that one.

Wanted to try to get rid of the Sauber engine for Force India but it's not really worth the cost for the smaller gain in points. If Perez hadn't lost 2m in value for no reason i could have done much better changes cause i could have gotten rid of him to make money... my focus from here will be on getting some better drivers in. I don't know how Bottas or Gutierrez didn't rise in value but Bianchi did! Could do with winning that new driver points bet at the next race.

Well Lewis is paying dividends I sold Perez and got Sutil engines and chassis a disaster as is Maldonado as my talent. I don't know, you give this guy the benefit of the doubt and he screws up royally for you! But I am winning all my bets!!
On another fantasy league I'm 7th out of nearly 200! got things right there!!

I did the exact same thing. The only change I've done this season so far.

I just can't wrap my head around Maldonado. I realize he has a huge upside and brings sponsors, but none of that does any good if he DNF's all the damn time. It's his third season, and here he is finishing in less races than ANY of the rookies (or anyone else for that matter). When is Williams going to say enough is enough?

I was hoping Maldonado's clear speed would come through with maturity this season. Bad way to start. Maybe the dire pace of the new Williams is getting to him.
