*Yawn* This repetition of the Spy Scandal is getting real boring, hence my far less posts on this forum. Less than a week to go for the new season. Thank God for that. :D

I agree AKR, the place to look now is forward and hope 2008 is without political incident - slim chance but we can always hope.
However it is not easy for McLaren Fans or neutrals interested in fairplay to just forget what happenned, to them it is very much unfinished bussiness and when others on the forum continue to sling the sh!t then the sh!t will be slung back.
Heres to a political free closely and fairly fought 2008 season :?:D

Racechick, you are quite right. I have no problem if a team is punished for doing something wrong, because I believe in doing the right thing. But looking at the whole of the spy scandal, it was quite inappropriate to hand McLaren the punishment that they did when Renault and (previously) Toyota got off with absolutely nothing. If Renault had been handed a larger punishment than McLaren and Toyota had been penalised back when they were involved in this kind of thing, then it would have been more of a fair punishment. But that was not the case, and so it's annoying when people start saying the kind of things they do about McLaren when it comes to this spying case. What irks me more, though, is that I've seen it coming from a lot of Renault fans!

I agree with you on a politics-free 2008. I just want to see some good, competitive and exciting racing! :)
