Great counter argument. You've got me convinced.

I am not negative towards the drivers but to the teams, Vettel obviously felt something was played against him, Why save fuel and engines on both your driver since obviously at least one of them is capable to deliver pace until the end of the race. I am not saying what is right or wrong I just don't like teams playing safe on Sunday. I want to see racing till the flag.

+1

I'm sorry, but when was Webber slower than Vettel?

For most of the past 3 seasons!

:nono: In this race?

The last few laps it would seem. :hehe:

Convenient, how you seem to have forgotten that Webber had turned his engine down and was basically coasting.

I'm not forgetting anything except that it's a race and the whole point is to win.

I assume you supported Schumacher when he tried to run his opponents off the track to win races/championships?

If Webber had to save fuel, means that he had used more than Vettel until that point... Sebastian proved he had enough to go to the end, and if thats the case he was faster than Webber in the long run...

That was the situation with Lewis and Rosberg. Neither Webber nor Vettel had any fuel problems.

I then assume you did not support Schumacher, and are disgusted by Mark trying to Barichello his team-mate into the pit wall?

Pretty sure Mark had already moved over before the attempt was made and left more than a car's width, with Seb then choosing to go down that side anyway.

I was talking about him running into Hill and Villeneuve. Yeah thats right, those incidents were very similar. :hehe:

Then why did the team told them both to turn down their engines? Playing Safe Maybe? Again, I can't accuse Seb for racing, If the team had let them race, there wouldn't be any drama. Even if they crushed... it's racing.

I think what's most frustrating is that earlier in the race, Seb was whinging at the team to get Mark out of the way because he was supposedly holding him up. Had the team actually followed that through and asked Mark to pull over, we wouldn't have heard the end of it from Seb or his fans had Mark not done as requested.

On to far more interesting issues, does anyone know what the gap between Gutierrez and Bianchi was at the end?

Exactly.... the Mercs weren't challenging them, why run the even slight risk of damaging their cars? Besides, it was already agreed upon before the race, by the team, that if they were in that situation they wouldn't do exactly what Seb did.
