I remember it like it was last week....my dad and I shouting with joy at seeing the two red cars off into the gravel at the same time! He was all for Mika, and I was for DC. My head was all "Coulthard for the win!!!" since he only had a Jordan to contend with...and then the rain came, and Brawn worked a master stroke to get a Ferrari 1-2 anyway. But 2001 is one of my favourite seasons since I felt it was Coulthard's best performance in Formula 1.

yeah, since they used inters for Q3 they get tire choice for the start just like all the 11th and worse cars.
