The BBC posted the TV times of Q2/3 on their website in the same news article that stated that quali was delayed. Seems a pretty obvious place to advertise if you ask me.

Alonso was faster than Massa,Sutil gave dirty air to Vettel, then even more to Massa then Alonso,It would make sense if Alonso pitted first

quick note,Bernie said Hamilton would rather take a sabbatical than stay with McLaren,Saw that this morning

There's surprisingly little conversation on the forum about McLaren. Probably best kept that way.

The talk usually centers around drivers who hover around the business end of the field, so not very surprising.

I was quite taken aback by just how despondent people in the team seemed to be.

I will just say that I don't wish any team to suffer problems. And I hope that McLaren will solve their problems and the races will be even more open with more potential winners.

But I do remember that at the beginning of last year when it was Ferrari that was struggling, that there wasn't a shortage of posts that seemed to take comfort from that.

Sis, not bro!

What I dont understand is this - Everyone says McLaren can develop their way out of trouble. But to do that you need leadership and inspiration especially from the drivers. In 2009 Lewis never once let his head drop and was always pushing, gouing for it, I remember him dueling with Alonso at the back of the grid one race for minor positions- absolute commitment to the cause
Then there is Alonso last year, game theoried his way to almost winning despite starting with a bad car. He dragged the team, lead the team, faced the media etc

When has Mclaren been able to develop and recover a bad situation without such an ace driver at the helm? If anything Sergio is the only one who sounds bullish in anyway.

Button and Whitmarsh are so lame, shrugging shouldiers, looking well beaten. Button is telling us how bad the car is and how 2 points was maximising what they had. Its like he is sitting back waiting for the engineers to give him a good car,

Wrapping a team around you means inspiring them at times like this not looking for excuses and just trying to justify his own effort. I can actually see the car becoming worse if anything - Button has form for this, see the Honda years - and they had testing in those days. He is already writing off the next race and saying he will be happy to do as well.

At Honda the stagnation was masked by management incompetence, now at Mclaren theres nowhere to hide and the scutiny is going to get worse

Exactly what crossed my thoughts...when I read his post race interview, about how he won Oz 3 times, the years he won it, and how he drove to the max to get the 2 points, blah blah, but there was no motivating factor in his speech. The best part was when he was asked about qualifying being postponed to the next day and the first words were "I can't have my coffee at the beach". Lmao
