I have a wedding party this weekend...and Im Catering for it. :yikes: tomorrow I have to go out and buy the last minute fresh things, finnish the wedding cake , cook pies and pizzas defrost things I made earlier, put stuff on platters, cook spicey chicken legs...80 :yikes: watch quali..no sky !!! So do I wait and watch BBC or try to watch it one of those weird computer things, or listen on 5 live? Thing is, being the first race, I don't think I can wait till 1 o'clock, But I would be a sweet break from wedding work! I could wash my hair and sort it out whilst watching quali. Oh yes, got to get ready tomorrow as well, and finish decorating the room. And after the party, have to clear up, go home, get up v. early and drive to house that has sky. so what strategy would you adopt to survive this? Vast amounts of caffeine? Or vast amounts of alcohol? I'd go for the latter option until about 4 a.m then revert to caffeine.....problem is the 'driving to the house with sky' bit....not good if still drunk!!!! Why this weekend!! :banghead:

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not nearly as versed with beers as I am with wines. I've never had a taste of IPA or overly hoppy beers. Are IPAs in general polarizing? lovem/hatem sort of thing?

I think it is something I grow into. Cider in school, lager until early 20's then cask ales after that.

Remember kids, drink from bottles in night clubs and keep your thumb over the top.

Your advice reminds me of the 'nightclub' in Arran, actually the conservatory of a hotel, just going to take a drink and 'plop', looking up all the sweat was dripping off the roof :(

This is something I have though about....don't know much about it though and haven bothered to find out and now it's too late. Is it the thing where the sky person can designate 2 mobile devices to watch it on? Cos if It is I'm sorted for the rest of the season even if this one is too late to sort( though watching on iPad will not be as good as big TV). I've done a deal. I bring breakfast in exchange for watching sky. ( random wedding guests will probably be scattered over this house when I arrive to watch TV..but will be too drunk to care or too grateful to receive breakfast tocare)

I'm amazed and shocked!

A night club in Arran. What next? :hehe:

Nightclub in the loosest sense, I think we were told it was a nightclub but it ended up being a mobile disco in a greenhouse.

You can change the registered devices, I think there's a minimum time of one month a device has to be registered until it can be changed again but the change can be made anywhere as long as you've got the password. Maybe they'll not go for that though, they'll be missing out on the breakfasts.
