Lots of stuff starting to show up now (had to scroll through into the future on NBC Sports - search not getting results)

Looks like all practice sessions as well as another analysis show ("F1 Extra")

It's looking better for US fans. Hopefully the shows and the coverage are at least as good as what Speed had.

at least as good as what Speed had? You're setting the bar low. I realized when they did the coverage of Austin, and they actually went to COTA how much we really miss out on compared to the folks other side of the Atlantic.

Without a doubt. Would love to see BBC America at least do a delayed broadcast so I could compare. I was used to Speed's coverage. Have you seen the races that werre broadcast on FOX?:eek:

Same crew, but there was absolutely zero coverage (on FOX - you had to switch to SPEED) before or after the actual race, and every now and then, they'd have one of their NASCAR announcers do a bit of analysis. :vomit:

Invariably make some snide remark about how much better NASCAR is.

Well, already NBCSN has SPEED beat, they're airing FP1 and FP2 that's twice as much practice coverage than we got before..

They also spent a decent dime on the new set.

Speed had FP1 and 3 online sans commentary.

Online is for young whippersnappers. I like to sit in front of my big HDTV.

No, and don't rub it in. I've gone through two summer Olympics and one Winter Olympics with my current big screen. I could have bought two 50 inch TVs now for what I spent for this one in 2007. :irked:

Anybody got anything solid on whether or not there will be coverage of the remaining qualifying on any of the NBC channels?

I have tried looking everywhere I can think of and there's nothing solid I've found. NBC Sports appears to be locked into MLS at 8PM Eastern. MNBC and CNBC still shows their regular lineup for that time. NBC Sports online is non commital with a bunch of comments about NBC's initial foray into F1 coverage going down in flames with no planned live coverage of Qualifying of the first race of it's inaugural F1 season.

:yikes:

Thanks for the offer - I have limited bandwidth, so probably no.

We usually DVR everything and watch it first thing when we wake up. Want to make sure I record it whenever it is broadcast.

Found a comment on the NBC Sports website that a twitter comment from an Official says that NBC Sporta is going to show it delayed at 12:30 AM Eastern time....

What I suspected - that way they can go all the way to the race and don't have to interrupt their regular programming. I'll be staying off this site tonight unless I decide to stream it at 8.
