Am I the only sad case who records every Practice session, Quallifying, Race and F1 Forum.

I have every race weekend on DVD from 2008 onwards and most of 2007 on too.
From 2006 I have Monaco and a couple of others.

Does anyone else do this?

I have actually downloaded recordings of every great race in case i wanna watch it back at some point, but sadly it's hard to find the time to ever actually watch them back now. I usually make do with the official season review DVD's, they cover all the bases for me. But, when it comes to new season time, i do get excited and want to see some action to warm up for the season. I think before this season starts i'll try to watch a couple of entertaining Aussie GP's from recent years... '03, '06', '08, '10... they were pretty good races that i have recordings of. I don't like to 'waste' computer space with videos of races i won't bother to watch.

Got some good races on VHS from waaaay back when though, mostly '96 to '98.

I don't record them, but buy the Official F1 DVD Review of each season, to preserve the memories :cloud9:

Why would you post this on a forum. You'll wake up to find FOM knocking at your door now.

It's not as if he's putting them all over YouTube?

They can't stop you from recording it, they can't even stop you from having a party and inviting 100 of your closest friends over to view it. What they can stop you from is charging admission to do so, selling copies, or posting it/sharing it on the internet.

Yeah, for many races I have to record quali and the race (silly Europe time). Practice isn't shown here, as far as I know, apart from brief highlights. The Aussie Grand Prix might be an exception but, I dunno.

Then they eventually get deleted. D: I can watch live quali sometimes, but, I have to record all the races on at indecent times, cos my mum likes to watch with me :)

I started recording races in 1992, got every race from that season on VHS, it's my favourite season to go back and re-watch. :) Other than that, got sporadic races on VHS throughout the 90's. Japan and Adelaide 94 are two races I have gone back and watched at least once a year every year since. Both awesome races! Again, sporadic races recorded through the early 00's until '05 where I've got every race from then on recorded to DVD. :)

One thing I do have is all of the official season review VHS tapes from 1984 - 2002, and DVD's of 2004 and 2007-2012. :) Keep meaning to pick up 03, 05 & 06, as well as the earlier VHS season reviews for 80-83.
