I'm looking forward to seeing the tires, some teams are suggesting deg is so bad there will be up to 5 pitstops at warm races! :yikes:

Paul Hembrey of Pirelli said it'd be more like 3-4.

I just hope the drivers can really push on these tyres, instead of all that tyre management rubbish. A fast driver wants to drive fast, not drive slow and "manage" his tyres.

Agree, considering that they use so many tyres over a race weekend, why not halve the amount of tyres allocated per weekend (say 2 sets of each) make them last longer and bring back refuelling. Refuelling + KERS + DRS would be so much more exciting than watching the drivers tyre-save for half the race!

Well, Pirelli promised us even more volatile tyres (aka more shredding)...so I look forward to chaos. Last season we had all sorts of bits all over the track except for the racing line....now with even more rubber being ripped apart, it will be a spectacle alright especially in Monaco and also Canada where tyres take a serious beating.

I want to see tires that last 2 laps, a 48 pit stop race, make those mechanics work for their pay! :whip:

Right...then the drivers will have to be paid like 1/10th of what they're paid now!

It's not that rare a thing for a driver that's been in F1 for a long time not to win his home GP. Ask Rubino.

Speaking of which, here's a question, was there ever a reason for flipping Brazil from the beginning or towards the beginning of the season, to the end of the season?

To get a Brazilian for the winter break?
