So to what I did today. Worked a 10 hour shift which was only meant to be a few hours in the morning, thanks to an awkward on the crane squad or else I'd have been away by 2pm. Wrecked my Saturday but it's double bubble on Saturday afternoons so this chap actually did me a favour by being a !

I watched Phantom of the Opera today in Liverpool. Then had proper Northern fish and chips. DAMN STRAIGHT.

Nahhhhh but it was just SOOOOOOO much better than what you can get in London. It's rather like ale in that respect.

How much did that set you back? One of the guys at work had the same for his lunch for £7.

Where was the fish from? My guess is either Lowestoft, Aberdeen (someone I know went to a chpper in Manchester and the fish was supplied by a company in Torry!) or Peterhead.

But it's a hell of a lot cheaper than what I'm used to in the Big Smoke that's for sure.

I purchased all the components for a new work PC as my laptop is starting to struggle with having so many apps running at once and having only one screen isn't helping either!

For the techies of the forum, I have purchased the following:

All this came to $1,001.40

It will be used for graphics, webdesign, a little 3d rendering, so I didn't see the point in spending $400 - $500 on a GFX card as I rarely play games and needed something with dual DVI-D!

I need to start thinking about upgrading my desktop as well but Porsche parts are so damned expensive.

On top of that, I've learned that anything that says Porsche on it apparently give a manufactured the right to charge 50 to 100% MORE for the same part. My car doesn't have an O2 sensor but it's laughable that if I needed one, for a 3.2 liter Porsche is $115 for a BMW of the same era it's $49 dollars and for a Ford Taurus of the same era it's $19. They're all the same sensor made by Bosch with the only different being the pigtail plug.
