Jenson Button says McLaren are struggling to get to grips with the new car that carries their World Championship hopes this season.
"It's been very difficult to understand where the car is. At times it feels good; at others it doesn't," he said.Lets not forget that JB was involved in the direction of the development, and that he told us this was the best McLaren ever!
Button's team-mate Sergio Perez led the times on Wednesday.http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21539768
Button said: "Today on hards I did a one minute 22.8 seconds, which I don't think is a bad lap with the fuel that we had on board. And [my team-mate] Checo [Perez] did a 1:21.8 on softs yesterday ( posting the fastest time of the day), which is also pretty good.
"Jenson is obviously a very experienced driver and has put a lot into the car," he said.http://www.f1reports.com/article/18727- ... tyle-perez

Because Briton was on 'hard' tyres while Alonso was on 'softs', however, Button's lap was more competitive than the headline times suggest.Lay off the McLaren and Button bashing. FFS the talking will be done in Melbourne.

Perez, 23, played down the prospect that his relationship with McLaren could break down, just as it did with other Latin drivers like Juan Pablo Montoya and Fernando Alonso.now I didnt ask the question, it was a reporter, (doing his job not laying into McLaren)
