Carried away?whose getting carried away? So track variances? They don't count in carts, and in F1? Only in 'a reasonably priced car'. Hhmmmm. Call it fanboyism, whatever that is. One second faster than Vettel and two second faster than Button. I'll take that!!

Same day...

Unless its done on the same day it is irrelevant due too things like track temp, air temp, tyre pressures, winds. It all makes a difference! Best measure for racing drivers is karts.

It's good that Lewis is top but don't get carried away thinking its the true measure of a driver, that's fanboyism at its best.

And so, what is the true measure of a driver?

Winning in the best car? Winning in the second best car? surely these are irrelevant due to things like track temp, air temp, tyre pressures, winds, all having different effect on different cars

maybe the true test is how one does wrt ones teammate

eg, beat your teammate, the reigning WC, not once but twice, maybe doing this in your rookie year

I know, everyone knows money talks right? and we live in a capitalist world, and F1 is driven by economics and revenue more than any other sport

in that case it would be logical to look to those who write the cheques for they must be the true arbiters of the measure of a driver, we can all talk, but they have to actually deploy the cash and face the real life consequences

Who is the highest paid driver (by a team)?

How is being logical when it comes to motor racing pro Button? Seriiously if you think factors i mentioned dont play any part then you are really proving to everyone you're just a fanboy who knows nothing about the sport.

IF (which i highly doubt) you've ever raced any form of motorsport you would know, so you can have your fanboyistic views which just push the typical Hamilton fan stigma further.

Fanboy, fanboy, fanboy.... Man, that word has no sting anymore, if it ever did, and certainly not when used by ... A FANBOY!

Btw, that new Macca road car is one ugly p.o.s. Lol.
