...fan of a team being stuck with a 2nd rate driver like Button and Lowe leaving, and a fired Williams guy being advisor to a giggling team boss who's sole interest is in disturbingly good looking staff...how many KEY people have joined the team since the fired Williams guy? Oh right, their best driver leaving, and a key senior member leaving. McLaren's only way is downwards from here on in.

If there was any doubt in any Lewis fans' mind that he might have made the wrong move, it should be scrapped IMO. I'm sure given the drivers' hunger, mentality combined with a team which believes in its drivers and has the infrastructure, there is no way but forward. Lewis knows what the McLaren feels like, and Merc has a direction to head towards now. Rosberg has never tasted a winning car and Old Man Schumi was out of commission for 4 years he probably doesn't even know what modern cars on Pirelli should feel like.

The car is no lemon...Lewis has had worse, like 2009. It's already proven very reliable (a wire and a brake issue can't count) and now it's about getting the car up to speed. Fantastic year ahead of us, Lewis fans.

Are you going on and on with this theme because you're trying to convince yourself? I find it funny that a hungry Mercedes-Benz (with so much cash behind them as we are constantly told, though that didnt help Toyota) wanting only 60% ownership of an F1 team. That's only 20% more involvement than with McLaren!

Once you have control/majority shareholding, there is less point to holding more of the stock. Allowing key people to have minority shareholdings is a common method to provide incentive to those small shareholders to be good employees. Its no different to the Bahrain Royal family (owners of McLaren) who left a smaller minority shareholding with Ron.

Which is exactly what people are saying the Toyotas and other manufacturers dont do thats detrimental. The Motor company makes a big injection of cash, owns the company and has full control of the board, brand, everything, yet allows the F1 team to function like a garragista, with the key staff having a true sense of ownership

Besides German corporate landscape is notorious for its cross holdings and interwoven shareholdings.

Its talking crap to suggest that Merc own a smaller percentage than before which makes it less committed or more likely to leave - its the opposite, they have an investment and now incentivise the F1 people and step back from any involvement and tinkering at board level, they appoint 1 link man who also has a real sense of ownership

Oh please talk about hypocrisy, where's your criticism of the precious bunch who do the exact same thing in McLaren or Button, sh!t dare I say any thread?

Lewis fans are a funny bunch, remove your blinkers!

Because bud, I tend not to hang round in other driver support threads too much. Unlike you.

I think you really need to look at your own actions before criticizing others.....

And that's all I am going to say on the matter. I refuse to get drawn into a vicious boring repetitive argument..... You know, the kind you always manage to be involved in.

Haha get off my back you <EDITED FOR CONTENT - Warning issued>
you Lewis fans are so fricken precious, you're saying only Lewis fans can post in here? Get a life mate its a f***ing forum. But hey why not tell your Lewis bum buddies to stop posting in Vettel, button or McLaren threads. All they do is post bullpoo biased derogatory views because hey they love Lewis and everyone else is s***!
So much hypocrisy shown by you lot, this formula 1 forum is clearly a Lewis forum, can't upset the precious few!

Lewis is appearing on Top gear on Sunday.

Apparently he slaughtered Sebs lap time round the track.

Heres Sebs lap so you can prepare for Sunday

Is this the Top Gear where the annoying short angry Porcher obsessed :censored: gets killed to death by Mexicans?

The best Top gear was when they crossed America and stranded Hammond in assrape country with a pink car and stickers demanding gay rights or something.
Still dont know how the film crew escaped that place because there was some really angry good old boys guessed they were been laughed at by a British Tv programme
