A racing car that does not win, is just art
As it is the off season and most here seem to be Sci Fi fans, here is a question. How old are you if you have been in Cryostasis?
If like in Aliens, Ripply's grand daughter is was 87 when she died. How old is Ripply? Do you go from the date of her birth? If so could you then just live until you where say 25 and then thing I have had enough and go into stasis for the next 50 years and then come out and claim a full pension?
The other option would be having a cronological age, so after 50 years in stasis you would still be 25... but what would happen if you where in stasis for a few weeks, would your birthday change?

So I think no one would ever do it simply from the get over on the government angle since whatever you'd get in benefits would pale in comparison to the amount of money you've paid to keep you in stasis for fifty years.
