^ true story.
I've been there.........
Sky Sports F1 have revealed that Ted Kravitz will broadcast live from Jerez and Barcelona on all 12 days of winter testing.
Having previously announced that Sky Sports F1 will transmit a nightly round-up show at 9pm on each day of the imminent 'winter season', the channel have now added the cherry on top in the form of ten editions of Ted's Test Notebook as the premier pitlane reporter scours the paddock in Spain for the inside scoops on F1's return to action and the essential stories as the field prepares for Melbourne.
Each of the ten editions will follow the 9pm nightly round-up shows which will feature the best of the day's action, interviews and analysis as Sky Sports follows every move of the 11 teams as they gear up for the season-opening Australian GP on March 17.
And if you are wondering why there will only be ten editions of Ted's Test Notebook across the twelve days of testing, the answer is that on Friday 22nd February and Friday 1st March, Ted will also be reporting live from Barcelona for The F1 Show while co-host Georgie Thompson holds the fort back in the London studio.
The first F1 Show of the year is on Friday 15th February when Ted, fresh from his four-day trip to Jerez in Southern Spain, will provide an in-depth report on the first test. Martin Brundle will also be a studio guest as the team report on the headline stories of the winter, review the 2013 car launches, plus take a detailed look at Lewis Hamilton's first weeks at Mercedes and host an extended interview with Red Bull boss Christian Horner.
Meantime, look out for recordings of both the McLaren and Force India launches on Friday and Monday night respectively, while you'll be able to watch the Mercedes unveiling live on Monday on Sky Sports News with Rachel Brookes reporting direct from the Jerez paddock when the wraps come off Lewis Hamilton's new charger.
And don't forget, if you can't wait for the 9pm reports and subsequent Ted's Test Notebooks when the Jerez and Barcelona tests are underway, Sky Sports News will be broadcasting regular live updates from across all four days, while here at Sky Sports F1 Online from dawn to dusk we will be providing rolling live interactive commentary along with the latest pictures, video, analysis and reaction from trackside.
Seems close now, before you know it we'll be submitting our picks for the first Melbourne pool.
