Bloody long and annoying but that's to be expected these days with a certain 3 installation who we all hate with a vengance. Just a huge amount of stuff to ship again, most of which will be just going for a trip.

I got another job for the weekends today, and found out that while I was claiming JSA I went to visit my folks for a couple of days so wasn't available for work and they're taking at least a week off me.

That's a bit unreasonable. I remember when I was on JSA that you could miss out of payments if you didn't attend your fortnightly meeting to tell them you still havn't found a job. I don't recall it being that strict that if you go away for a couple of days you loose a week's money. It's effectively a holiday so you wouldn't be able to work if you had a job. I'd certainly appeal that decision. Do they seriously expect you to not leave your home or put your life on hold whilst you spend ages chasing a job that 200 other people are chasing? I would say they are being pretty unreasonable.
