I liked both the drivers you have mentioned . I reluctantly agree that Senna didnt do as well as he should have done, but I still think there's more to come and circumstances haven't been right for him. And he's SO nice! Petrov did do well and it's a big shame he's not racing. I'd like to see those two back in f1

Lets just list drivers who don't have a seat but deserve one: Glock, Bianchi and Kobayashi. Match them up how you like, but I'm really fed up of seeing Glock wasted in a back marker team.

Clearly the top teams don't think that Glock is anything special; which is all that counts. Glock, in my view is a good driver but does nothing to stand out from the crowd, same goes for Kobayashi, a good driver but will never become the next world champion. Don't much about Bianchi so cant say too much about him!

I'm still ticked that petrov was dropped from lotus. It was completely the team's fault for doing such a bad job with the 2011 car. Had the team had a car like last year's while petrov was in it, petrov could have easily finished fourth or fifth in the WDC. I still can't stand the look of eric boullier's face because of that. Sure, petrov had his bad moments in 2010, but he was a rookie and had great pace. He had quite obviously ironed the crashy kinks out in 2011.

I look back at events like Hungary 2010. In that race, Petrov hauled that yellow Renault up to a very respectable position. He had the pace, but at that stage of his career, consistency was, understandably, somewhat lacking.

I agree that Senna was slow, in comparison to Maldonado, but surely for the mid-field teams (which Williams are despite their rich heritage), consistency, reliability and stability are the main ingredients in increasing the teams position. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I was the under the impression Senna was in the points more than Maldonado, and he was also a lot less controversial.

Off-topic, I know, but I felt that McLaren could of made a better choice in replacement for Hamilton. Hulkenberg springs to mind. Young and has speed, determination and consistency. What does Perez offer other than potential, and the occasional good race?

Agreed. I know he had that big crash at suzuka 2010 when the red lights went out, but imagine if he hadn't swiped hulkenberg in the williams...he was like a bullet out of a gun! Woulda been up towards the front easily by turn 1...but alas, he got it wrong by just a few inches :( ah he would have been lauded as a hero, had he pulled that off!!!!
