Me too. :D:D
Here's some pics of Lewis at Merc.......

And Lewis is very upbeat about 2013. Says there's no reason why they can't compete with the top three teams

Bild broke Wolff and Glock stories

And so what if its not true, the fact that so many are willing to accept its true doesnt bode well for the cartoon team

Also at a fans forum at MTC, Lowe was asked of the 2014 engine rules would put customer teams at a disadvantage

his reply?

most definitively, he said, as the new regulations would lessen the importance of Aero and that the packaging of the car would assume almighty importance and a complete departure from whats happened before vis a vis chassis and mechanicals

Maybe he wants to be the Adrian Newey of the next epoch and feels Mclaren are not going to be a in a fit state to deliver that

Oh what fun it is to speculate!

So they're saying that Toto Wolff actually had lured Paddy Lowe to Williams, but since he left Williams now, he's taking Paddy simply with him.

They also caution that this decision might not be in the interest of Ross Brawn and his right hand Nick Fry and claim that in England speculations are rife that the two of them are about ready to throw in the towel

I'm confused. Toto joins Merc...and then who crosses Brawn to bring in Lowe? Why would anyone have the power to welcome new personnel into the team if Brawn is against it? Unless we are talking about Dr Whatshisname (the daddy of Merc).

Wolff is coming in at the top (taking duties over from N. Haug) and is also going to be invested in Mercedes with $$$, so there...

Brawn is TP, I would imagine Lowe would become TD, maybe Brawn and his guys will leave but I am not sure at all about that.

Id imagine that Brawn would welcome McLarens TD as right hand man with the others reporting to him.
Lets not forget that Brawn cashed in big time when he sold to Merc and is likely to be tied in as part of that deal

And ofcourse if you were a team with a lot of money and real intent to dominate the sport, would you not want 2 engineering teams worth of top guys?

One for the 2013 car and one for the 2014 car

Oh right... I just read it again and saw he's coming in as MD. Well, I did wonder all the time about why Haug took all the hit (if that was what it was) and Brawn was not blamed, maybe it was just delayed consequences for Brawn.

The next 48 hours should be riveting.

So what happens to Aldo Costa? They don't need 2 people doing essentially the same job.

Saw some footage of a recent Hamilton PR thing recently - pretty odd seeing him in Merc gear after the last several years.

Telegraph are now running the story
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motors ... eason.html

Not sure what Mercedes will do with all these experts. Lock them all in a room till they come up with a winning car. Joking :D but if the work well together it could be mega. Or maybe they'll leave some on tis years car and have another team on the 2014 car. Either way, if they're working for Mercedes they're not designing for competitors.

Costa is Ferraris sloppy seconds, I'd imagine he'd make way for Paddy.

So now, according to SkySports F1, McLaren are 'refusing to comment'.

That, to me, tells us one of two things:

Either, they have only just found out too, and havent had time to pen a statement.

Or, there really is nothing going on, and they cant be bothered to even acknowledge it.

I think if there was nothing going on surely there'd be a categorical denial.
