If they loose well we all know what it means - You will get your bold 2008 ready for your footer.

If McLaren don't win the title by fair means next season I won't need to update my signature. If there is the usual jigery pokery from Ferrari-FIA et al. which costs McLaren the title then I'll be putting a nice 2008 in bold on my signature. Anyway tifosi, continue to enjoy your hard-earned titles...

Do that if you wish but in REALITY IT MEANS NOTHING.

OH MY GAWD how pathetic 'Ron Dennis #2' !!

Truth hurts? Ey lamb?

Mate McLaren were GUILTY so how do you work that out.

We are dealing with children here tex

Yep guilty and tried and punished by FIAT :lol: Well well well...well done ferrari

To be fair to Racechick and the other McLaren lambs.... no supporters, no one here is a lamb we are all passionate F1 supporters, Ferrari got some help from the FIA. To what degree I do not know but I posted a post on this conspiracy theory already. The reality is if McLaren could do the same they would as well. That is a fact. If you can cheat and not get caught then do it. McLaren is no different to anyone else and they would do it of they could. Everyone else. Weather it be motorsport, football, basketball etc. Money always talks. It is what keeps sport and business alive.

F1-Live.com

Ron Dennis and his deputy Martin Whitmarsh have denied reports that the McLaren team boss is being forced out - but speculation persists that Dennis' nearly three-decade reign at the helm of the Woking based outfit is close to an end.

Dennis, who will turn 61 later this year, gave several private briefings to allies in the British media on Thursday, rejecting rumours that 40 percent team owner Mercedes-Benz wants him sacked.

He reportedly told the Daily Telegraph that, as Group CEO and Chairman and a shareholder, there is 'no mechanism' for removing him as boss, and also 'no will to do so' among the team's other stakeholders.

But the newspaper said Dennis will nevertheless make a 'decision about his future ... forthwith.'

The Times insists that, contrary to speculation, Dennis intends to travel to the Australian Grand Prix next month, although he may arrive in Melbourne late.

Team CEO Whitmarsh, meanwhile, who would inherit Dennis' job, told the Press Association that "it is for Ron to decide when and if he should step down, step away, step back, or whatever."

If Dennis does step back, 'Whitmarsh might find himself promoted to the position of Team Principal and could be on the pit wall overseeing the Australian Grand Prix in just over a fortnight's time', the Guardian observed.

I would be proud of any company that could take a 100 mil fine and still opperate... How many F1 teams would be around this year if they had taken that sort of financial beating?

Alonso offering money as an incentive is the lifeblood of F1, how do you think everyone else gets paid?

Blind is not the word...

What the f*** are you on? The mechanics, drivers, engineers, whoever are all employees of McLaren and are contracted and paid by McLaren to do what McLaren want.

By your magnificently inept logic it would be fine for you, in your job, to pay a colleague to do something totally different from what he is paid to do by the company.

Some of your posts have been absolutely hilarious, laced with nothing but spurious anti-McLaren slander, but this, with its decadent stupidity, is easily the most ridiculous.

Yes but these employees all receive incentives for winning, that's all Alonso was trying to do, offer an extra incentive, it's a rather good idea. We all now know Hamilton was on his knees in front of Ron Dennis every night and it created an unfair advantage for Hamilton.

No need for name calling, I'm just saying if you can put your hand on your heart and say you are proud of McCheaters after they dragged the entire sport into disrepute then you are more blind then Stevie Wonder walking around in the dark.

I know you think you are right McLaren fan, you also have a fairly high opinion of yourself, but you constantly bombard this forum with cut and paste's from Autosport, the most biased publication known to mankind. I know you regurgitate their logic and try to outsmart us all with your one sided 'McLaren can do no wrong' dribble, why don't you be honest with us and admit how disappointed you are in your own team instead of trying to ignore the pain with constant justifications...

actually demure it was a Ferrari employee who instigated the event and Ferrari did a damn good job of using the media to tell their story instead of keeping it behind closed doors for the sake of the sport.

get over yourself demure you could use the exercise!!

A Ferrari employee, who has suddenly disappeared, and who is being prevented from telling the real story.

Sounds like a 1980's mafia film plot.....

How can you talk about Hamilton having unfair advantages when you support Ferrari with a Schumacher picture on your avatar
For your information until Alonso cheated and tried to blackmail Ron Dennis he often had the better strategy, Monacco being a prime example.

If I may racechick I think Monaco is a bad example. Basically if you get out front you can control the race and the street's are so narrow there is basically no passing at all. Not much strategy there I dare to say. There are plenty of other race's where Alonso showed his talent at race strategy.

Er the strategy is exactly that-to get out front-to be on the strategy that puts you there.Lewis was faster alonso had the strtegy
