Did anyone watch the derby between United and City just now?

Loved Ferdinand celebrating after Van Persie's winner....riled up the fans enough to get one of those losers arrested!!:rofl: Oh man, self control is definitely not the name of the game in football. :hehe::hehe:

Man, the United-Newcastle match was absolute class! United behind 3 times, ends up winning 4-3, sparked flashbacks of that epic United-Arsenal match after the Keane, Vieira bust-up in the tunnel.

What happened to Arsenal btw...I'd much prefer them to be giving United trouble instead of boring bags of cash City. *puke*

I think I'm the only one who follows the BPL in this forum, but anyway that was a sweet match between United and Liverpool. I wish Evra had that goal though...its not fair that it was given to Vidic just because his hair touched it, since if Evra wasn't there, there would have been no chance of a goal.

That wouldn't be a goal without Nemanja. ;)

Err yes it would...he hardly changed the course of the ball! But I guess final touch even if its the hair, has to count.

The ball DID change the direction, and Reina was following that direction, so no goal would be scored.

No it didn't, watch a replay or something...they replayed that like 5 times and it never changed direction so I don't know if the fact that he's Serbian is clouding your judgement.

I follow it but don't watch matches religiously or whatever. Usually just MOTD wherever i get the chance to catch it.

MOTD?

Not religious either, but when United plays I watch...otherwise I look out for results of big matches. :)

MOTD = Match of the Day. It's the Prem highlights programme we have on the BBC here. :)

I only always watch Derby County on tv, apart from that i sometimes watch the big games when they're on, or Arsenal (like watching em play).

Nigel Adkins sacked? I feel for him and Southampton supporters, he didn't deserve it one bit and is perhaps one of the most underrated managers of today. Only a select few are capable of leading a small club like Southampton to two consecutive promotions. It's not even like they are in the drop zone, I'd consider them to be reasonably safe from relegation if they let Adkins stay with the club. No disrespect to Pochettino, but managing a club as well as Adkins has over the last three years is going to be a very difficult task.

I hope every football fan realises how awesome it is to be part of the Messi (and Ronaldo for that matter) era firsthand. :)

Messi. He needs to be put out of commission. As for the UCL so far, it is good united is out. Hopefully Barça, Real and Bayern soon follow.
