He just doesn't look right in the Mclaren outfit! He just cheapens the whole aura of it all.

But Checo, good luck to the young lad. He'll have to do lots of PR stuff. I think McLaren do more than any other team...PR days. We're used to seeing Lewis in those McLaren clothes, pulling up to the MTC, so it's strange to see Checo doing it, but I can't agree he cheapens anything. That test will come when he gets in the McLaren in anger, not just through a publicity video.

This place ain't what it used to be. Such disrespect of one of the most illustrious and successful F1 teams ever. Cue usual flaming in 3, 2, 1.......

I call drivers 'pet' names myself but I'm not thick headed enough to lecture others on how to post. You're no mod, so quit telling others how they should post you sad wannabe.

It isn't derogatroy where I come from. More of a colloquialism. Certainly not insulting.

Where have I told anyone what do? Nowhere, that's where! I merely posted my opinion on the constant anti-McLaren/Whitmarsh rhetoric that is infesting this once great forum.

We try very hard to be fair. We're damned if we do and we're damned if we don't as the last two days have shown. We do our best with the best intentions in mind. i will watch the video when I get home, but how a certain indiviual can "cheapen" the look of something sounds very f'ing close to a racist comment.

Sergio is a fan-fing-tastic driver, and I as a mclaren fan could not have hoped for a better replacement aside from the vets and semi vets (vettel, massa, zo, rosberg).
