Did you get the Note 2?

I bought the 10.1 and I'm quite happy with it overall, but TouchWiz does irritate me somewhat. Sadly there isn't a CyanogenMod build for the specific model I have and I can't get the nearest one to boot on it.

yes got the Note 2, I actually find that for somethings I would rather use it than my laptop!!

Yeah, i think Google Nexus and Amazon Kindle (she already has the book one) were two names mentioned. I have no idea what tech specs. TBH she didn't go into that much detail (cause she's not a tech geek like us lot! ) and i know jack about tablets and stuff, i never use or need to use em. I think the budget can be stretched a bit, if there is something good in the Jan sales.

She is going for Nexus in the end, thanks for input all
