I think this is just Marko motivating Mark

The day Marko motivates Mark I'll put a flag up

[Jabberwocky]

Look how motivated he was when he said "Not Bad for a number 2 driver"

[andrew]

So...don't take Marko seriously, but take the Ferrari guys seriously? F**k logic as usual.

Look! A conclusion. Quick, JUMP!

Didn't Frank Williams work in a similar sort of way? Was he not pretty hard on his drivers so they become more determined to prove him wrong? That's what I see going on here, but of course it's popular to bash Marko so he doesn't stand a chance.

Marko isn't like that with his precious though is he

After being granted a one-year extension to his contract with the team, it seems Mark Webber will struggle to keep his seat at the reigning Constructor's Champion beyond 2013.

The 36-year-old Australian will be with the team for the seventh consecutive year this season, but he has already been put on notice by Red Bull's special advisor Dr. Helmut Marko.

Marko has made it clear that Red Bull was unhappy with Webber's performance at Interlagos, where team-mate Sebastian Vettel was competing with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso for the driver's title.

Flavio Briatore, who is involved with the management of Webber's career, noted after Brazil that "the only one who helped Ferrari was Webber."

"Mark was not optimally co-operative in Brazil," the tough Marko confirmed.

According to German publication Sports Bild, several drivers are being considered for a potential drive at Red Bull, with Toro Rosso's Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne mentioned, but Marko is particularly keen on Nico Hulkenberg.

Another German, the 25-year-old Hulkenberg recently signed a one-year deal with Sauber and has also been linked with a move to Ferrari in 2014.

"A few years ago he was on the list of candidates for our junior team, but Nico already had a main sponsor (Dekra) with which he didn't want to separate," Marko confirmed.

He loves his Deutche volk.

And I totally understand him for that. Germans and Brazilians are the best drivers.

No they aren't.

Uk tops the list for most F1 champions

[andrew]

That's probably only due to the British drivers flooding the driver market once upon a time.

As to Marko's comments, I find it impossible to disagree with him. Webber, I feel, has passed his best and certainly didn't drive as well in 2012 as he did in 2010 and 2011.

And I totally understand him for that. Germans and Brazilians are the best drivers.

Probably.

[vlad]

UK drivers are overrated.

[bud]

UK drivers are overrated.

Says the Serbian...

[vlad]

I'm not saying anything about UK people, or any other. I'm saying about the drivers. And your response is totally out of the context.

[andrew]

You're on fire today Vlad!

UK drivers are overrated.

A bit harsh

Uk tops the list for most F1 champions

Quality my dear, not quantity

[Hammer278]

UK drivers are overrated.

What a bullsh*t comment. Wouldn't expect such crap from you vlad.
