Did anybody from the UK feel the earthquake that happened at about 1am GMT this morning? I didn't, was still trying to get to sleep at that time.

I did. I was up reading at the time, though I had no idea it was an earthquake at the time. I thought it was just a truck going up the road behind our house, since a lot of them go up there late at night with deliveries and stuff. I had some music on, so I couldn't tell.

Was anyone hurt at all?

I didn't reach as far as Glasgow, where I'm living at the minute, nor would it have reached the Emerald Isle. Thankfully, there were no deaths or serious injuries, although I hope the guy who broke his pelvis makes a speedy recovery.

The cheek of it! Whenever a forgien country have an Earthquake we set up charity donations and send Aid over for them. But when we have an Earthquake we get f*** all..... :!:

Much like the fact that we have millions of homeless and poor people, yet rather than putting significant funds in to that, it all goes elsewhere. I understand that helping other countries is important, but at this rate we'll not fix their problems and we'll just make our own worse. :/
