I used to have a real problem, would not think about drinking 10 - 11 pints a night. It was the culture, all my mates would be doing the same. Now I am older, it just does not seem that important anymore. I just think about how I could of spent the money on other things. I have probably had about 10 pints in the last 2 months... yes I really am that hard core.

It is massively over-rated and hangovers are just pointless. Changed days for me as well but living in the pub took it's toll.

Yeah, glad to escape this uni term. It was really stressful at times, money was tight, i spent the first 3 weeks commuting a 3 hour round trip from Leicester to Oxford which was a nightmare when i had some 11 hour days, had that car accident that cost me loads of money, etc etc... all done now though, and we move on to 2013!

I'm 26, no real life noob really. I did the full time work 'real world' thing for several years working utterly poo jobs until i decided to go for it and try to chase the dream - and i'm fully glad i did things the way i did, rather than blindly going to uni when i was 18. But now i'm sick of the uni lifestyle and want to move on and progress to the next level in life!

I've kind of done the reverse - uni and job and am now working in what could be classed as a poo job but it is usually better than what I did after uni. Funny how life turns out for the better ain't it?

LOL, and I've done a mixture of both! I started my studies at age of almost 19, back in 2004. I was working 2009-2010, poo job, as Scotty said, then committed to my studies again. For almost 8 months I was doing gigs with 1 band, so I slowed down with exams, but, since the start of 2012 I really pushed hard and learned more than ever. Now, looking for a job.

The daily commute might be a bit long and you'd have to put up with our bigoted and racist cleaner who has teeth like a burnt fence. We just extract the urine with him (well you've got to with someone like that - it's the law I think ).

Just had a class test which turned out to be afreakin JOKE....after 1/2 an hour, people started referring to their notes, asking the professor how to do the questions, and he was actually answering their questions!!!! WTF. And I just had my formula sheet with me. According to the Prof, if we get a good grade, he wil ltake it into account for our overall GPA, but if not, we have another test to improve out grade....but in the end it accounts for 10%.

Anyway, came back, and my housemates were like "lets go for a few drinks" par for the course, so here I am. Tipsy for only the third time in Switzerland, and class is at 12pm tomorrow. It already feels like the weekend though. And I still have classes for tomorrow and Friday! F**k. Off to bed.
