Maybe the kids should all carry guns too?

Some pro-gun guy compared an AR-15 Bushmaster to a Ferrari arguing that more people die in car accidents and nobody is talking about restricting the use of cars and that guns like the AR-15 are for fun like a Ferrari is, a Ferrari that you are not allowed to drive to max. speed.

How twisted a mind do you have to have to come up with such crap in the face of tragedy?

Ferraris may be potentially lethal but they aren't made for killing. You drive it and enjoy it and cruise in it deliberately. You might kill with it by accident. Thare's a big difference and to compare is obscene. Likewise you don't buy an AR15 with the intent to cruise around with it and if it ever shot anyone it would be accidental. It's the opposite of what happens in a ferrari. You kill with it deliberately. If you ever cruised the streets in it that would be an accident.

We say guns when what we mean to say is semi automatic assault rifles with extended 50 round sleeves that don't even require a background check (criminal or mental health) to purchase.

I guess it's quicker to say guns.

I just think its so sad that children after children after children's are dying because lunatics have easy access to killing machines. Why do Americans want to protect their right to shoot over protecting their children?
