I'd want to be spending more time with a 24 year old model/actress as well.

She's 36, he's 60 - that's where the 24 yrs. come in

I love math, my German model/actress would need to be 24 since I'm not 60.

What's the REASON? :yikes:

Lewis Hamilton arrives; Norbert Haug leaves; maybe Haug wasn't happy with the decision to hire Lewis; maybe he was outvoted by other team/board members... it's all very interesting!

Wishful thinking on your part. Norbert has been and is a very supportive of Lewis ever since he started started racing. It was Norbert who got Mercedes to fund him in the early days.

I know you would like it to be the case but it's wishful thinking on your part.

If it helps you sleep better at night then you keep believing that nonsense lol.

Norbert Haug on Lewis Hamilton.

“I understand Lewis perfectly and I will defend him. He is a good driver, he is a friend and I do not share the criticism that is on him. We will support him and he is a great driver. There are phases that you have to go through.”

Dream on. :banghead:

I think he was just hypthesising. It's not the only reason he listed.

Well if outlandish claims are made concerning Lewis then they will be countered.
#339483
What outlandish claims? Until the true story is known then surely any theory is plausible.

Plausible? I give you plausible:
Norbert Haug was abducted by aliens who turned him into a Mormon. Now he can't do his job anymore for religious reasons and needs to chase after as many skirts as possible instead.
Plausible?

The outlandish claim that Haug didn't want Lewis at Mercedes. Yes it's a theory . And when such theories are presented expect them to be countered.

How can this even be a theory given the end result?? Haug quit Mercedes, not just Formula 1! As was mentioned time and time again in this thread, if he was so upset Old Man Schumi was pushed out and Lewis is coming in (he's publicly admitted being a Lewis fan in the first place!) he could've just left the race team! He has so much power in the company, and if he truly is an asset I don't think Mercedes will give him some stupid ultimatum like "stick with the race team, or you're fired!":rofl:

Injen is right, anyone thinking thats the case is just wishful thinking, it doesn't even make sense to be thinking that.

There's something far more intrinsic than merely F1 performance or whatever going on here. Only a freaking moronic company would 'sack' (assuming that is the case) such a highly regarded employee based upon a few bad seasons in one single category after a 22 year association. And Mercedes aren't a badly run company.
