I think Jenson will be under more pressure next season, he didn't have much under Lewis because of they were both WDC. So Jenson will be expected to out perform Sergio, but I feel Serg might be a dark horse next season.

It will prob push Jenson to perform better, which can only be a good thing for McLaren.

I think Button was pushed to his maximum limits by Lewis and we saw his limits during their 3 year partnership....Sergio would want to aim to beat Button to show the paddock he is a future great, if he merely equals or gets beaten by Button, he's destined to be a journeyman for life.

Good point, just hope they give Jenson a reliable car next year so he can, at least try, and compete for the title, and both of them can challenge RBR for the constructors.

Well...I won't share your hope, but I do look forward to seeing how the partnership evolves through the season! :)

No, well sort of....

Perez, 22, has recently conducted a fitness test to which McLaren submit all their drivers and it proved he is a long way short of the physical condition of Hamilton and his team-mate Jenson Button.
Whitmarsh admitted in an interview with the official F1 website that Perez had a lot of preparation work to do before the start of the 2013 season in Australia in March next year.
"I am not worried about him. We have the winter to prepare him," Whitmarsh said.

That's what I saw as well - I thought you found another statement more to the point than this more diplomatic one :hehe:

He's not fat! Not fit aparantly, but not fat....and certainly not disturbingly good looking, not even a tiny bit disturbing. But there's no accounting for taste, maybe like Jenson he disturbs Martin.

He certainly won't be as fit as Jenson, that kid does triathlons for fun. Crazy mo' fo'.

But no Seegio isn't fat......just big boned.
