Norbert Haug was famously a DC fan..and apparently he had a hand to play in the final decision whether Lewis is ready for Formula 1 to partner Alonso....and has been declared 'a huge fan' since. I don't expect much problems since Lewis has not had any personal problems with anyone in McLaren despite their 'quick and talented kid, but we'll listen to the older slower guy' treatment.

Well, they never said they hired him due to his disturbingly good looks, so it seems they are hiring drivers for the right reasons in Mercedes at least.
