Nope, I remember it clearly when Rosberg was sought after...and I was looking forward to it, and negotiations broke through and Rosberg chose Mercedes (bad choice at the time) and McLaren settled for someone else. Maybe Vettel was that 2nd choice though, I don't know.

Maybe I'm thinking Vettel was first choice after Alonso left, and they ended up with Heikki.

What do you think dear forum members, if the unimaginable happens that Nico beats or seriously challenges Lewis next year. Would it be possible that the fans admit that Nico is better or we'll hear the classic conspiracy stories etc?

I don't really see it happening though, maybe even levels I still think Nico has been pretty solid and never lost to a team mate which is a basic standard of a good driver.

Conspiracy theories? Here we go again. The only people who suggest conspiracies are those that like to put Lewis fans in a little box with a label and then put words into their mouths. I hope Nico will challenge Lewis because the team will be better for it. If the new team can concentrate on getting the most speed out of the car rather than helping a slow team mate then that's to both drivers and the teams advantage.

If it did happen no doubt all the fan boys and girls will blame Mercedes not playing fair, giving Lewis a bad strategy, making sure his car breaks down.... you know the same as they have been doing to Mclaren for the last few years.
