It is going to start some time so it might aswell be now.
I think it will be interesting as no one really knows how good Nico is, because his yard stick team mate (Schumacher) was also an unknown.

Saying that I have not really heard other teams looking for Nico's services, maybe that is a tell tale sign.

Lol Nico was McLarens #1 replacement for Heikki, too bad he had signed with Merc and they got some other fella instead.

Its only been 3 years...and better options at Ferrari, McLaren and Redbull have had the same drivers since he signed for Merc. So where is he to go?

Hamilton will destroy him, Nico is really overrated.

And yet he solidly handled Schumacher. I can't help but see Nico and Jenson both the same realm of abilities.

If Nico had the same luck Button had over the 3 years with Hamilton, it'd easily be 2:1 in favour of Nico. With a massive whupping in 2012.

and oh yeah... DAMN YOU JABBERWOCKY for starting this thread.

but I think for the most part it will be very chill, I mean Mercedes is assuring Hamilton of equal treatment and Lewis and Nico have gotten along swell since kids so other that Nico beating Lewis, I don't anticipate a lot of fireworks here. :hehe:

A man way past his prime, imo. Even then, i thought Schumacher outperformed him this year. Lots of reliability problems for Schumacher early this season when the car was fairly quick means the points difference isn't really a fair representation of what actually happened on track.

The problem with Rosberg is his tendancy to regularly be completely nondescript in races, although he's generally a good qualifier. He actually reminds me of Jarno Trulli like that. Then i guess the other question is which Hamilton will turn up, the 2012 spec solidly ultra quick at every race driver or the inconsistent and accident prone 2011 driver.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, we saw a lot of opportunities for Lewis to revert to his ways this year and he didn't jump at any of them. As a matter of fact each set back simply made him come back more focused to win and time and time again this year when McLaren gave him a complete car, he won the next race after a DNF.

I don't see why his form will change either, hence why i said he'll destroy Rosberg. :P

I'm hugely looking forward to Nico and Lewis. Neither man appears bothered by silly games to promote themself , either in the press or the team. I'm not saying there won't be problems but I don't anticipate them. Nico is a hard one to place. I'd say at least as good as Button. I expect Lewis to easily have the upper hand but Nico to grab a few. I think they'll be a strong partnership, but lets wait and see.

I honestly believe Lewis will have the hardest time outpacing a teammate since partnering Alonso, but we'll see.

Nico just seemed content beating the faded "7X WDC" but with Lewis in the other car, we'll see his limits next season.
