I don't think Button drove poorly, he just had a hard time getting the rears to light up. His driving was just fine.

So much so that he deserves the British driver of the year award?

Not sure he quite thought the sequence of words through here, but it makes for a nice quote

"[Winning in Brazil] was a great way to end the season and hopefully for all the guys working that'll be good for 2013.

"I had so many angry Ferrari fans, but it was nice to make Christian [Horner] happy. I look forward to doing that again many times next year."

Who is the most experienced driver on the grid gonna be now? Button, at 32 years old... That's crazy. And not sure where else to post this little fact and didn't think it warranted a new thread, but as things stand (so unless say DLR or Barrichello return), next season there won't be any drivers on the grid who raced in the 90's in F1, which feels a little strange even if it is going to be 2013.

Interesting to note that some people thought it was an unusual choice when Button chose to go from Brawn (turning into Mercedes) to McLaren.

It shows how people aren't really able to predict the future with much accuracy. Nobody would have predicted this a few year ago.
