Formula 1 - Vettel's 'illegal pass' controversy explained
An explanation of the footage that appears to show Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel making an illegal overtaking move in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix.
Ferrari have written to Formula 1's governing body asking for a clarification of Sebastian Vettel's pass on Jean-Eric Vergne, with the FIA indicating they believe Vettel has not committed an offence.
Any penalty for Vettel could potentially overturn the result of the race and the world championship in favour of Fernando Alonso.

He was incredibly lucky to escape with that car in working order. After that I will agree he kept cool and drove well, but it was a big error. Surely you best race can't contain an error such as that?
