it's Saturday morning, no one is rushing off tow work... this thread is dangerously skirting the repetitive and ceaseless arguments we know all too well, let's step back shall we? we've stated out opinions that should suffice.

Not rushing to work on a Saturday morning is an odd feeling I'm not used to these days.

That takes us up to Brazil, where I believe Button took Hamilton and Hamilton took Button

So that's Hamilton taking Button 12 times and Button taking Hamilton 6 times. Many of the overtakes are taking and retaking each other. And Hamilton inevitably wins out. The only one where he holds the advantage is the one wher Hamilton was pushed on the grass by Schumacher.

There's no use trying to prove who's better....they'd just bend facts to suit whichever way it suits them to make it look like Button holds a candle to Hamilton.

What matters in the end is Hamilton beat Button 2:1, more wins, way more poles, and a much sweeter deal at Mercedes. Now we wait for 2013 and watch how Mercedes lead by Lewis will perform compared to McLaren lead by Lame Duck.

Fact:Hamilton is better than Button.Reason:Lewis has lots of bad luck(more than JB) and still beats JB by 2 points,despite losing 4 wins and many points though McLaren reliability and mistakes and epic fails.

Exactly. That's why in this context Jenson Button has lost out to Lewis Hamilton two to one. Points do win championship, so I'm glad you're agreeing in your own way that Lewis lost more points because of a (fast) POS McLaren unreliable car, more than anyone, more than even Button.

As far as a drive for a top team... he's so good he can leave a top team behind. Ferrari would have chucked Massa into the Baltic Sea with cement shoes on if Lewis had shown an interest in them. Red Bull would have fed Weber to the dingos.

Look at the list of drivers that have purposely left McLaren... just sayin'
