So where do your rednecks live?

If you mean rednecks as by people with "enclosed" family units, the stories go that it is people from Norfolk. and Cornwall/Devon.
If you mean people classed as a bit backward, The black country/midlands and the further north you go in England. you go the worse it gets. (If you need proof have a look at where most of the guests on Jeremy Kyle come from.)

I am at no point in this thread implying that any of our UK members are inbred/backward/rednecks. Just stating myths. maybe.

As I have done project management in the past all I can say to that is

Suck it up princess :-)

Look at it this way, you got paid for your time, so it is the project manager that has to sort out that loss. I am sure it will cause them more of a head ache that it does you :-)

But it IS my issue too, as it affects the profit of the contract / company, and ultimately reduces my annual bonus.

PLUS - its sould destroying to spend 6 hours of intense software writing - all for nothing.

But that was yesterday. Ive moved on.

I would of kept it, just incase it could be bastardised to work at some other point with something.

Plus 6 hours of pay for a company (I suppose it depends on the companies size) is not going to affect your bonus that much.

I work for a company of 6 direct employees - a days work affects it!

I keep all my work.

Anyway, today has been a much better day. Ive just drank a bottle of flavoured water with added vitamin b's and Guarana. apparently.

So it is quite small then, that is not so good then.

Its ok - I forgave the guy - he was very apologetic for about 4 hours when he realised he had messed up. Plus, hey, I didnt take the job for the bonus, that was just a ... well.... bonus!

I worked outside in the cold for most of the week. So far, cold free. :D

Mind you, it is nearly December so I'd be concerned if it wasn't a mite chilly.

My wheelstand is on the way.

I've only got F12010 and since it's so much better with the wheel than the controller I've rarely played it, only when I've been bothered to set the wheel up which is a bit of a pain to do. Hopefully that's gonna change now.
