I like hearing the Italian, even though I can't understand it, well only a few words. It sounds so beautiful. I could just listen to Italian people speak all day long. Best language in the world. :D

Well not all the teams in F1 are based in GB. Everyone makes an effort to speak in English, I dont see why Ferrari feel they are special as usual.

All I hear from their radio communication is:

"##)($*)&*$&$*&$#! (#$(#*$#&%*#%$*%#! @#@#@$#!"

When they want to get someone else penalized:

"YES VE SAW DAT VE SAW DAT OUR RACE IS RUINEDE"

2013 with another small rule -> speak english over the radio or the team scores no WCC points for the race. If they are out of the top 10 and speak Italian then, no one would really need to bother. :hehe:

Um half the "Italian team" is not Italian. So there is no foreign language, the lingua franca of F1 is English. The FIA is bilingual in French and English.
Ferrari as in Alonso and his Engineer conveniently talk in Italian when they want to hide something, English when they want others to know something. Do they think Italian is a coded language? I laughed when they subtitled their convo!

How can you hide something by speaking Italian when a lot of non Italians speak it throughout the world. Thats englismen included. I know English people who speak Italian. Your man Lewis Hamilton speaks fluent Italian.

I can't believe that people are trying to criticise Ferrari for speaking a widely known language when their drivers and engineers/management decide to use it.

Perhaps next time someone's going to claim that Ferrari is cheating because it's been reported that one of the Ferrari team forgot to flush. Clearly a dastardly attempt to spread disease to other teams through the medium of a toilet seat.

Some people need to get over the fact that just because they only speak English, that doesn't mean that the rest of the world should be obliged to speak it at all times. If you want to understand the pit to team communications of an Italian team, there is always the possibility of actually learning Italian.

Why are the post race interviews only in English? I say go a step further, if it isn't Italiano, reporters around the world should not interview Ferrari personnel or their drivers!

Exactly my point, they're idiots to think they are speaking in a coded language
