Would it work if they did the clipsal 500 before the race at adelaide to make money say start the clipsal 500 at 11:30 am local time and the race at 3:30 pm local time. or have adelaide as a night race.
they dont want it back the Clipsal 500 attracts larger crowds than Melbournes GP and makes money for the S.A. Government.
personally id love it though

yeah ive thought about a joint meet aswell which is what they do with the Indy on the gold coast with the V8s and the Champcar equal billing, but for something like F1 you have alot of coorporate interest so is there enough room for the F1 sponsors and the Supercar sponsors plus the cost of tickets would be very high.
BUT there are plans to develop world class pit area that would be permanent in the current location its been since 1985 so if they get the approval from the Adelaide city council it could be a bargaining point to bernie and if it shall be a night race they have held a night even with the le mans in 2000 although the track wasnt lit up.
by the way Team Vodafone won the Clipsal 500 hopefully a taste of things to come in F1even though i prefer Holden
i agree , cant brundle be in charge of geting races seeing as though he was an ex f1 driver

I'd love it if Martin Brundle was in charge. He's a nice guy, knows his stuff as an ex-driver as you have mentioned, and I think that unlike Bernie he still has passion for the sport. He wouldn't be bothered about making F1 into a bigger business than it already is, I reckon Brundle would really want to restore F1 to a great sport. I've been watching a lot of past seasons lately and in the commentary he makes a lot of points on corners that don't allow for overtaking. If he was in charge, I think we'd see less of those
