We had our fair share of action in 2012. Legendary circuits such as Spa supplied the usual fantastic entertainment, but the season was rounded out with three utterly excellent Grands Prix, two of which were from Tilke's pen!

Which was your favourite race this season?

Tough one for me... but surely Brazil. Followed by Malaysia and Valencia.

The first 7 or so were fun due to the crazy Pirellis, but I don't remember any being as thoroughly entertaining as Brazil. The WDC championship on the line, the on/off rain, all the WCC battles up and down the grid, Hulkenberg was leading for a while and actually keeping pace, last Schumacher race, last race for Hamilton at McLaren... I could go on. It was insane.

It's kinda hard to look past Brazil as it's in our most recent memories and it was a stonker of a race, so much drama, great wheel to wheel action, some not so great wheel to wheel action!

Brazil because of its worth.
Abu Dhabi was very very good though, 2 of the best races in previous years.
And Vettel proved to everyone he can indeed overtake!!

USA. Proper racing because of the wrong tyre and a stunningly good new track. Never thought id say that about a Tilke track!! You see, it is achievable. Good real racing !

I really really really wanted to vote for Montreal since it was Hamilton's first win, Brazil also deserves more than just honorable mention because it had more action in the first 25 laps than two or three other races combined. But for an honest to goodness slugfest with lots of action I voted for Valencia. Imagine that...

This smashed the previous record which was set during the 2011 Canadian GP.

No, most are good. If you watch other series on Tilke tracks, the racing is pretty good. The tracks fail in F1 due to the cars but blaming the tracks is an easy cop out.

Bahrain and Malaysia are very good circuits (ignoring the silly version of Sakhir used in 2010), China isn't terrible. Even before DRS was brought in, you got more action in a dry race at most Tilke circuits than at Silverstone, which people seem to think is amazing for some reason. :hehe:

None of them are as good as Spa, Monza and Suzuka though. :cloud9:
