My aunt is over this weekend and I brought up to her the lawsuit our family has going at the moment. Here is the short story: My grandfather and grandmother owned a 100 acre ranch which was a 50/50 ownership by Texas law. Well papa sold my grandmother's 50% without anyone knowing which we have been contesting for about the past 3-4yr's. Well it turn's out that this property is sitting on one of the largest natural gas reserve's ever found in that part of Texas!!

There are property owner's surrounding our property who are getting anywhere from $50K-$1M a month in mineral right's which depend's upon the size of the property they can drill on. Well we are very close to closing the lawsuit which could mean MAJOR dollar's for me my brother and mom, I mean like $50K+ a month in royalties!!

If anyone need's a solid investment I suggest property !

Thank's everyone as this is a very exciting turn of event's for our family. I just spoke with my aunt Myra and found out my aunt Marilyn who ha 75 acre's ajoining our property was paid $20K just so they could lay the pad's on her property that the pump's will sit on. I was also told that this area is one of the hottest natural gas site's in the country at the moment and will be for year's to come.

Turn's out me grandfather who was very cheap and underhanded forged any all all document's and deed's pertaing to the sale of the land. The lawyer we have now has made progress in the case in just a few's month's time that took the other two several year's. It's an open and shut case that we as the rightful heir's were cheated. They have been drilling on the property for about 1-2yr's now so we are also persueing lost income which could be in the million's!!

I'm about to call the attorney and get the complete update as to were we stand, what we can expect concerning the lost income and a projection time frame as to when this will be settled.
