Re yellow light, on Sky television, Allan McNish stated that there was no doubt Vettel overtook through yellows. It's clear as day on replay, not slippery surface flag either, highly bizarre.

Exactly, it was clear as day. Who else hopes Vettel is penalised with a time penalty, not just a 'reprimand'?

quote from bbc f1 live site "There have been some suggestions that Sebastian Vettel may have passed Kamui Kobayashi when yellow lights were flashing. Ferrari technical director Pat Fry says it appears they were yellow and red slippery track flags and not yellows. Therefore, no penalty required."

If even Ferrari admits that it wasn't the case why the hell are you keep on thinking it was otherwise.

Crazy race.. Glad Vettel took the championship , after the first lap collision I was :yikes:

Because of the replays that Sky showed about 5 minutes ago. Using the on board cameras Sky points out exactly where the yellow/red flags are, where the green flags are, and where the yellow flags are - and Vettel overtakes between two yellow flags. The yellow/red flags everyone keeps banging on about were a few corners before the overtake..

EDIT: spelling

I know you really want Vettel to lose the title, but it's not gonna happen... The biggest mistake was made by marshals, putting 3 different flags/lights in 3 corners.

Oy vey. If Vettel's championship gets overturned, I'm handing in my resignation... I don't want to moderate here THIS off season. :hehe:

Let sleeping dogs lie, Vettel actually drove the car this year, as far as I'm concerned it's been his most earned WDC.

To be honest it's Sky sports job to keep on flogging the dead horse (for more audience ofc).Since race stewards considered that nothing happened there ... the matter is closed.

Btw, is it possible that the backmarker caused the incident between Hamilton and Hulkenberg? Hamilton just couldn't go as far right as he wanted.

The BBC were just saying that the Caterham would have undoubtedly have played a part.

Ferrari was the one who first reported the incident to the FIA

Another huge shame for Hamilton losing yet another chance at a win as I think this one probably would have been his, otherwise. I did think Hülkenberg's penalty was rather harsh though, given the track conditions at the time, but what's done is done. Great to see Massa on the podium in front of his home crowd, Schumacher scoring points in his final race and Caterham finishing ahead of Marussia, not that I think it will do Kovalainen much good. It was also a shame that di Resta had his accident at the end of the race and for it to finish under the safety car, but conditions weren't great so it's just unfortunate.

What a season this has been. I'd have preferred it if Alonso had won to be honest as he's hardly put a foot wrong all season, but Ferrari's development just hasn't been good enough.

Moment of the race? Räikkönen's off-track adventure... :hehe:
