Any news on Vettel overtaking under yellows earlier in the race?
I hope he gets a pitstop added to his time after the race, and Alonso inherits the championship..

Anyway, great race for JB - hope he wins next years championship!

No further action - it wasn't yellow, it was just lights warning of the track conditions (rainy).

Recent sky replays show that it was indeed yellow flags he undertakes under, the yellow/red flags were earlier in the circuit.

There were no yellow flags, just yellow lights.
However, the lights were not blinking, which is the big difference here:

blinking yellow lights = yellow flag = be careful and don't overtake
solid yellow lights = red/yellow flag = be aware of conditions and sort it out yourself

It was a bit confusing as he had a green light after a series of yellows and then another yellow, in which he overtook. I don't think he should be penalized. It was just a confusing sequence.

Vettel drove well during the race with a damaged car and loss of radio communication.

I just really didn't like his stupid comment he made after the race in reference to the first lap incident with Bruno. Thought it was really classless of him to talk about Ayrton like that.

He can talk whatever he wants, he is the world champion. If I remember well, previous world champions also had funny statements.

After all the talk Alonso did this year, I''ll grand him a slip of the tongue

For what its worth, the fact is they were blinking when he overtook.

They were blinking in sector 2, then just before the hill, there was green (i.e., all previous flags are out of the way), and up the hill it was solid yellow.
The Sky footage clearly shows both lights within view not blinking.

Are you guys still debating this non-issue? The stewards and Pat Fry from Ferrari confirmed there's nothing fishy there to fish for

If there was something to be gained, I'm sure Ferrari would be jumping up and down and shout about it but there not. Says it all really.

Even that is beyond the immense powers of the Forum Queen.

What I think is needed is a meme of the coolest guy in the world or the condesending Willy Wonka to sort all this out. :hehe:
